CREED
I believe music is a language. It can cross borders without translation, carry memory without explanation and reach places in another person that words sometimes cannot. It is emotion and mathematics, rhythm and vibration. My music came from years of listening, learning, experimenting and finding my own way of writing. Whatever ability I may have inherited, the compositions themselves came from me.
I believe work created with meaning deserves the opportunity to be heard. Not because the world owes the artist an audience, but because something left hidden can never reach the person who might need it. If music, an image or a film offers someone refuge, encouragement or a moment they carry with them, then it was worthwhile.
I look towards the past, but I do not want to live there. Nature, archaeology, mythology and ancient symbols remind me how far we have travelled while still carrying many of the same questions. I also look towards the future. Technology can reveal worlds that once existed only in the mind, but it should amplify human imagination, not replace it. My original music belongs to the journey that shaped it. I will protect it.
Above all, I want my work to carry hope. True hope begins with the individual — with recognising that change remains possible and having the courage to choose it. That is what Old Soul. New Beginnings. means to me. We carry what we have lived through, but it does not have to determine what comes next.
I do not know where all of this leads. Perhaps nobody does. We are moving into a future without a reliable map, and increasingly without familiar signposts.
So I will leave one. Old Soul. New Beginnings. Ancien Rych.
